Rodeo History
There is a photo documented Rodeo in Lakeside held in 1921 (99 years ago), and the community led by the Lakeside Rodeo Association began to hold them more frequently from 1929 through 1958... under the EC Stadium Association, the rodeos formalized at a new permanent facility starting in 1964 and, as a non profit, funds are directed to support the Youth of Lakeside. For over 53 years the ECSA and Lakeside Rodeo have been an all volunteer group and donated over $1 million in funds and services to Youth.
