Happy 4th of July!

Today, our office is closed—not because the work isn't there, but because the people who do the work deserve the day.

As we celebrate America's 250th birthday, we're reminded that this country was built by hardworking people who believed in dedication, sacrifice, and taking pride in a job well done. Those same values are alive and well in our crew.

Every day, our team climbs trees, operates heavy equipment, works in the heat, the cold, the wind, and sometimes in the middle of storms. They do it with professionalism, skill, and a commitment to keeping our community safe and beautiful.

Today through the weekend, we hope they're doing something much different—firing up the grill, watching fireworks, making memories with their families, and simply enjoying a few days they've earned.

To every member of the Dave's Tree Services family: thank you. We know that great companies aren't built by trucks or equipment. They're built by great people. We are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.

And to our customers, thank you for supporting a local family business and the hardworking men and women behind it.

Have a safe, happy, and meaningful Independence Day as we celebrate 250 years of freedom and look forward to the next 250.

Thrifty Thursday

Many call it “keeping junk”.

We prefer the term “future flower planters”.

This week, a rusty feeder, an old metal ring, and a weathered wooden piece all got a second chance at life with a little soil, a few flowers, and some imagination.

At Dave’s Tree Services, we spend our days caring for living things, so maybe it’s no surprise we hate throwing old things away. Sometimes all they need is a second chance to bloom.

WOODYARD WEDNESDAY

We've reached that point in the week where we're not sure if we're selling mulch, trimming trees, or just providing emotional support to customers who can't decide which mulch color they want.

Chocolate?
Cedar?
Black?
Brown?
Light Brown?

Meanwhile, our crew is over here thinking:

"Yep. That's definitely mulch."

Whatever color you choose, we've got piles of it waiting for a new home.

The good news? There's no wrong answer. Fresh mulch makes everything look better.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸
