Several years ago, Shane and I had the privilege of spending a few months serving in Uganda. It was one of those experiences that stays with you for the rest of your life.

While our paths have gone in different directions, Shane has continued answering that calling. Even more inspiring, his wife and daughter now serve alongside him, making it a true family mission.

This year, they’re making three trips to Uganda, including taking a medical team to serve the children at the orphanage. They could use support in the form of medical equipment, supplies, and financial donations to help make these trips possible.

If you’ve ever wanted to be part of something that truly changes lives, this is a great opportunity. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps provide hope, medical care, and love to children who need it most.

🐾 Meet the Real Boss of Whitney Roofing 🐾

Before Pete was in our logo, before Pete was on our trucks, and before Pete became the face of our marketing… he was just Pete.

A little rough around the edges. Stubborn at times. Always hungry. Usually snoring.

Several years ago, we realized that the best way to tell the Whitney Roofing story wasn’t by trying to look like every other roofing company. It was by embracing what makes us us. That’s when Pete became more than just our bulldog—he became part of our brand.

Pete represents a lot of what we believe in:
🐾 Loyalty
🐾 Honesty
🐾 Hard work
🐾 A good heart
🐾 Not taking ourselves too seriously

That inspiration led us to rebrand and permanently incorporate Pete into the Whitney Roofing logo, ensuring he’ll always be part of who we are.

The truth is, we think there’s a little bit of Pete in all of us. None of us are perfect. We all have our quirks. But if we show up, care about people, stay loyal to our team, and do the right thing, we’re doing alright.

Pete also reminds us of something else that’s important to our family and our company—our love for animals. Whether it’s supporting local shelters, helping with adoptions, or simply giving our office mascot a place in the spotlight, animals have always been a special part of the Whitney Roofing story.
