Some removals are harder than others.

This Pin Oak on historic St. Louis Street in Edwardsville was planted by the homeowner herself. We've cared for it for years, watching it grow. But severe dieback and hazardous deadwood had taken over, and with the tree sitting directly over the house, it had to come down.

We removed it quickly and carefully, with the respect a tree like that deserves.

Some trees carry more history than we realize.

This Magnolia has stood in the courtyard of the Benjamin Stephenson House in Edwardsville for generations. Built in 1820, it's one of Illinois' oldest surviving homes and this tree is woven into the fabric of that history. When structural compromise threatened its future, the staff at Stephenson House asked if there was anything we could do to help it survive.

Our owner Nic Demetrulias and his son Asher took on the job personally. They assessed the damage, developed a plan, and got to work. Because when history is involved, preservation is always worth the effort.

Two pieces of heavy equipment. One big canopy. All day in the trees. 🌳

This Glen Carbon property had mature trees that needed trimming and removal close to the home. Our crew brought out the aerial lift for precision cuts up in the canopy and the grapple saw to handle the heavy stuff. Full day, done right, cleaned up on the way out.

Crane day in Edwardsville 🌳

Three large ash trees + a storm-damaged pear, all wedged between two homes with solar panels overhead. We popped one fence panel for crane access, then picked the trees out section by section with the Treezilla — keeping the customer's lawn intact and zero debris through the neighbor's yard.

If your ash trees are thinning at the top, that's almost certainly Emerald Ash Borer. Dead ash gets brittle and dangerous fast.

Work smarter, safer, and cleaner. 💪 Handling storm cleanup shouldn't add to your property's damage. Following last week’s severe weather, we were called in for a technical extraction after a massive tree failed and landed directly on a roof. We brought in the heavy hitters: combining our lift for the high canopy work with our massive grapple saw crane to physically lift the heavy logs up and away from the house. Complete control.
