Now that the leaves are falling, are you noticing these small broccoli-like growths on your ash trees? A lot of folks reasonably mistake them for seed buds or otherwise healthy growth, when actually these are tumor-like structures typically caused by flower mites. The bad news is, these flowers turn brown and can become insightly. The good news is, they are relativley harmless and the tree can be treated for mites to prevent further infestation.
