Roofing lesson of the day:
If the plan starts with "we'll just figure it out in the field," the roof gods have already begun sharpening their lightning bolts.

Details matter. Planning matters. Tested systems matter.

BRS offers a fee-based Quality Control Program designed to help licensees verify panel profiles, monitor tooling wear, and maintain production consistency through written evaluations and reporting.
Because in roof systems, "close enough" can get expensive fast.

Quality control is not the flashy part of commercial metal roofing, but it may be one of the most important.
Panel profile drift, tooling wear, and inconsistent production can create problems that show up later in the field. Catching those issues early helps protect performance, fit, and installation quality.

Wind + Rain Performance

BRS roof system testing has included wind speeds in excess of 150 MPH from multiple directions, along with simulated wind-driven rain testing to evaluate realistic water infiltration performance.
That kind of testing helps support better decisions in demanding roof system applications.

Roof performance should be proven, not assumed.
Testing for wind uplift, water infiltration, and system behavior under realistic conditions helps manufacturers, designers, and builders make better decisions before a roof ever reaches the jobsite.
"Looks strong enough" is not exactly a standard. Thankfully.

The BRS TS-324® Standing Seam Roof System was designed, developed, tested, and deployed using Superior Seam Technology™ to address modern wind/uplift demands, including stricter edge and corner zones. The system also offers three field seaming options: RollLok™, TripleLok™, and QuadLok™.

07/14/2026

Not all areas of a roof experience the same wind pressure.
Edge and corner zones can face higher uplift demands than the main roof field. That's why modern standing seam systems need to address zonal conditions with the right seam strategy, clip options, and tested details.
In roofing, the corners don't care about shortcuts. Rude, but true.
