⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We recently had an issue with our septic system at the shop and contacted Cournan Septic. We couldn’t be more thankful for the service we received!

Dave was able to come out the very same day, was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and took care of the issue quickly. When you’re running a business, having someone you can count on to respond when you need help means everything.

We truly appreciate him coming to the shop and getting us back up and running. We highly recommend Cournan Septic for all of your septic needs! Excellent service from start to finish!

Why does the summer always go by so fast?

As we wrap up another season on Sand Island, we just want to thank GSLAC for the opportunity to do our part in helping to keep Sacandaga nice and clean for generations to come.

Hope everyone had a fun and safe summer on the lake and look forward to seeing you all next season!

Don’t forget about your distribution box!
Every few years, your septic system’s distribution box should be opened and the speed levelers should be inspected and adjusted.
The yellow adjusters shown in these photos help control how much wastewater flows into each of your leach lines. Proper adjustment helps ensure that each line receives an even amount of flow and saturation, rather than overworking one section of your leach field.
This is an important part of maintaining your septic system that can easily be overlooked. A little preventative maintenance can help your system operate properly and may help extend the life of your leach field.
