Advanced Electric and Security, Inc. is now hiring an electrical trainee (apprentice) to join our team. No experience is necessary, but we would welcome an experienced apprentice / Trainee as well. Electrical Trainee's work under the supervision of a certified electrician. After receiving 4000 hours as a trainee, you will be eligible to test as a residential journey level electrician.
We wire custom homes and spec homes, and wire security systems, music systems and miscellaneous low voltage systems as requested by the builders or homeowners. Shop is located in North Puyallup / Edgewood, and 90% of our work is in Pierce County and Thurston county.
At Advanced Electric and Security, Inc.:
- Full medical, dental, vision insurance after 60 days.
- Work Monday – Friday 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week! (overtime is available)
- 401k Retirement plan after 1 year
- Year End Bonus (DOE)

NOW HIRING! - Advanced Electric and Security, Inc. has been in business for 30 years and is looking for 02 Electricians to join our team. We wire spec and custom homes for some of the best builders in the area, and provide security, music, and miscellaneous low voltage systems as requested. Our shop is located in North Puyallup (Edgewood). We come to the shop once or twice a week for payroll and material. Other travel will be directly to the job sites located primarily in Pierce and Thurston County. Electricians will have a company van to take home.

We are making sure to take additional measures to keep ourselves and others safe as we return to work. Each van has a hand washing station, Covid-19 specific safety binder, Lysol spray, thermometers for daily temperature monitoring of each employee, gloves, masks, eye protection, etc. It is good to be back serving our customers!

Please be sure to check your smoke detectors. Also, if you have an FPE or Zinsco panel in your home give us a call.

The house fire tonight was most probable to be an electrical panel malfunction by the Pierce County Fire Marshal. A good reminder to make sure that you have working smoke detectors in your home.
