We are both honored and humbled to announce that the AC Beverage Headquarters has been completed, and we are proud to share that the project received the 2026 ABC Excellence in Construction Award for Pre-Engineered Buildings Less than $5 Million. Additionally, we received the Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) Silver Award and are extremely proud of that accomplishment.
This project transformed a vacant 1.5-acre parcel into the new home of AC Beverage, a national leader in high-volume draft b**r, w**e, and water dispensing systems. The 17,000 SF pre-engineered metal building houses corporate offices, warehouse, fabrication, and specialty beverage systems space under one roof. As an authorized American Buildings Company (ABC) builder, Spring Contracting Group furnished and erected the PEMB structural package and managed the project from preconstruction through commissioning.
The complexity came from integrating all of those functions in a single structure, with tight coordination of steel er****on, complex MEP systems, and owner-provided specialty equipment on a constrained site. It took an outstanding team to pull it off.
Thank you to our subcontractors and trade partners, whose skill and commitment made this project a success. Thank you to J. Mayer Architects for a design that brought the vision to life. And most importantly, thank you to the Kleinrichert family for trusting us with this project and giving us the opportunity to bring this incredible project to fruition.
We would also like to dedicate this project to the family patriarch, Charlie, who sadly and unexpectedly passed away a few months before completion. To his sons, Blane and Spencer, who are now leading the company, and to his wife, Anita, thank you for seeing this project through to the end. It was an honor to build it alongside your family. Charlie's legacy lives on in this building.
