🏡 Stetsonville Project – Progress Update! 🔨

Another productive week on the Stetsonville Addition & Exterior Renovation Project! We’re getting closer to the finish line, and it’s exciting to see all the hard work coming together as this transformation takes shape!

Here’s what we’ve accomplished this week:

✅ Versetta Stone Installation Complete! The new stone veneer is officially installed, adding a beautiful finishing touch to the home’s exterior and tying everything together.

✅ Drywall Texturing Complete! All drywall texture has been sprayed throughout the newly renovated interior spaces, bringing us another step closer to the finished product.

✅ Interior Priming Underway! We’ve officially begun priming the walls and ceilings in preparation for the final painting stages.

✅ Electrical Nearing Completion! Final electrical work is nearly wrapped up, with just a few remaining items to finish.

🔨 Coming Up Next:

Tomorrow, we’ll be finishing the remaining vinyl siding above the stone veneer and beginning installation of the porch railings. These final exterior details will really bring the whole look together!

From the new addition and covered patio to the updated siding, roofing, stonework, and interior renovations, this project has undergone a tremendous transformation!

🏗️ STETSONVILLE PROJECT | PROGRESSION UPDATE

🔥 We’re closing in on another MAJOR milestone at the Stetsonville Addition & Whole-Home Renovation!

The transformation continues to take shape, and we’re now working through some of the final exterior details while making tremendous progress on the interior finishes!

🏠 PREMIUM VINYL SIDING — NEARING COMPLETION!

We’ve officially completed the vinyl siding installation across all lower-level elevations and the majority of the gables and dormers!

We’re now down to just a few remaining areas:

🔨 The rear addition gable, which is ready to be completed now that the beams have been wrapped and the necessary detail work is finished.

🔨 The two remaining front dormers, which are scheduled to be completed tomorrow.

Once those final sections are wrapped up, we’ll be closing out another major exterior phase!

🌧️ SEAMLESS GUTTERS — COMPLETE! ✅

Another major exterior milestone was officially checked off the list yesterday!

The seamless gutter installation was completed across the project, bringing another important part of the exterior renovation to completion.

With the new roofing, soffit, fascia, windows, doors, and now gutters all installed, we’re getting closer to having the entire exterior transformation finished!

🎨 INTERIOR TEXTURING & PAINT PREPARATION!

Inside, we’re currently spraying texture on the walls and ceilings throughout the new addition, master bedroom, and master bathroom.

This phase is nearing completion, and we’ll soon be transitioning directly into priming the walls and ceilings, bringing us another step closer to paint and interior finish work.

It’s incredible how much these spaces change once the drywall finishing and texture are complete!

🧱 VERSETTA STONE INSTALLATION BEGINS FRIDAY!

Another exciting exterior phase is right around the corner!

Friday morning, we’ll begin trimming out and preparing the areas receiving Versetta Stone, getting everything properly detailed and ready for installation.

We’re anticipating completing the stone installation next week, which will add another major architectural feature to the home’s exterior!

🏡 FINAL EXTERIOR DETAILS ARE COMING TOGETHER!

Once the remaining siding and stone are completed, we’ll be shifting our attention toward:

🔨 Framing the remaining exterior steps

🔨 Installing the exterior railings

🔨 Completing the final exterior trim and detail work

🔨 Working through the remaining finishing touches that bring the entire exterior together

We’re getting closer to seeing the full exterior transformation completed!

With the gutters officially complete, siding nearly finished, Versetta Stone about to begin, and interior texture transitioning into primer and paint, we’re making substantial progress on multiple fronts.

🏗️ DEWITT PROJECT | WEEKLY PROGRESSION UPDATE

🔥 Another strong week of progress at the DeWitt Addition & Whole-Home Renovation and we’re getting closer and closer to the finish line!

After months of structural work and preparation, we’re now firmly into the finishing stages, with major progress happening both inside and outside.

🏠 SIDING — ALMOST COMPLETE!

This week we continued pushing through the remaining premium vinyl siding, completing nearly all of the siding installation on the gables.

We’re down to the final sections, which we’ll be wrapping up this week. Once the vinyl siding is officially complete, we’ll transition into one of the final major exterior transformations:

🧱 VERSETTA STONE SIDING!

With the new windows, doors, roofing, soffit, fascia, siding, and soon-to-be-installed stone all coming together, the exterior is looking completely different from where this project started.

🔨 DRYWALL FINISHING — NEARLY COMPLETE!

Inside, the drywall finishing phase is also nearing completion! The walls and ceilings have come a long way, and we’re now approaching the point where we’ll transition into priming and painting this week. 🎨

From there, we’ll start bringing in the finish details that turn these newly constructed spaces into a completed home.

🏗️ DEWITT PROJECT | WEEKLY PROGRESSION UPDATE

🔥 What a week of progress at the DeWitt Addition & Whole-Home Renovation!

We’re officially reaching the stage where months of structural work, preparation, and rough-ins are turning into finished surfaces—and the transformation is happening FAST both inside and out.

🏠 VINYL SIDING — LOWER ELEVATIONS COMPLETE!

This week we completed the installation of the premium vinyl siding across all of the lower-level elevations of the home and shop. The exterior has taken on a completely different look!

Next week we’ll move up into the remaining gables, finish out the vinyl siding installation, and then transition directly into another major exterior feature:

🧱 Versetta Stone!

The stone is going to be one of the finishing touches that really brings the exterior design together, and we’re excited to finally be reaching that stage.

🔨 BIG PROGRESS INSIDE TOO!

This week we also completed the wall insulation and interior v***r barrier, followed by the blown-in ceiling insulation application.

With those systems now in place, the structure is officially weather-tight, air-tight, insulated, and protected from the elements. ✅

And then came another huge milestone…

🏠 DRYWALL IS NEARLY COMPLETE!

Drywall installation progressed tremendously this week and is now nearing completion. Watching the framing disappear behind drywall has completely changed the feel of the addition—the new spaces are finally beginning to look and feel like finished rooms.

Next week we’ll transition from hanging drywall into the drywall finishing phase, putting us another major step closer to paint and finish work.

From here, we’re heading into a stretch where this project is going to change very quickly.

🏗️ DEWITT PROJECT | PROGRESSION UPDATE

🔥 The DeWitt Addition & Whole-Home Renovation is really starting to transform—inside AND out!

After months of structural work, roofing, windows, doors, soffit, fascia, and exterior preparation, we’re now well into the stages where all of that groundwork is turning into finished surfaces.

🏠 SIDING PROGRESS

The new premium vinyl siding installation is progressing extremely well, with more than half of the siding now installed across the home and shop! Each new section is dramatically changing the appearance of the property, and we’re continuing to work our way around both structures.

🔨 FRONT COVERED PORCH

We’ve also continued making progress on the front covered porch. The post wraps are complete, OSB sheathing has been installed where needed, and we’ve been working through the remaining porch detailing and finish preparation.

This porch has been a major part of the exterior transformation from the beginning, and it’s exciting to see all of those individual pieces finally coming together.

🏠 INTERIOR V***R BARRIER & INSULATION — COMPLETE!

Inside the addition, we’ve officially completed the v***r barrier and wall insulation, bringing us to another major milestone and allowing us to move directly into drywall.

🔨 DRYWALL IS UNDERWAY!

Drywall installation has officially started and is progressing very nicely! We’re currently working through the ceilings, with the remaining ceiling drywall scheduled to be completed before transitioning into hanging the walls.

This is always an exciting point in a project. Once drywall starts going up, the framing disappears and the addition finally begins to feel like finished rooms instead of a construction site.

With siding moving quickly outside and drywall moving forward inside, we’re now seeing major visual changes happening on both sides of this project at the same time.

🏗️ DEWITT PROJECT | FOUR-DAY PROGRESSION UPDATE

🔥 Four days of progress—and this project is officially entering the stage where all of the behind-the-scenes preparation is turning into some BIG visual changes!

Over the last four days, we’ve continued pushing forward on both the exterior and interior of the DeWitt Addition & Whole-Home Renovation, crossing several major milestones off the list.

🪟 ALL WINDOWS — OFFICIALLY COMPLETE!

The master bedroom window was the final window remaining on the entire property, and it is now installed. From the house and addition to the garage, every new and replacement window included in this project is officially complete! ✅

We also installed the new front patio door and were then able to come back and finish the remaining soffit above the door that had intentionally been left open until the replacement was completed.

🏠 SIDING PREP & INSTALLATION

Approximately 95% of the siding accessories have now been installed around the house and garage, bringing us right to the point we’ve been working toward.

Over Wednesday and Thursday, we began planning, laying out, cutting, and installing the new premium vinyl siding! 🔨

After months of structural work and exterior preparation, we’re finally beginning to install the finished exterior that’s going to completely change the appearance of this home.

🔨 FRONT COVERED PORCH DETAILS

We also made significant progress on the front covered porch, including:

* Completing the new post wraps
* Installing additional OSB sheathing
* Working through the remaining front porch detailing and preparation

🛠️ INTERIOR PROGRESS

While the exterior transformation is beginning, work is moving forward inside as well.

We removed the old bathroom subfloor and began rebuilding and building up the subfloor throughout the bedroom and bathroom, getting those areas properly prepared for the next stages of the interior renovation.

This project has come a LONG way—from excavation, framing and structural changes to roofing, mechanical rough-ins, windows, doors, soffit, fascia, and exterior preparation.

Now we’re entering another exciting chapter.

🏠 Premium vinyl siding is going ON.
🧱 Versetta Stone is getting closer.
🔨 Interior finishes are approaching.

And today is going to be a BIG day onsite. We’ve got a lot planned, and we’re ready to keep this project moving forward on multiple fronts.

🏗️ DeWitt Addition & Whole-Home Renovation | PROGRESS UPDATE

Another productive day on the DeWitt Addition & Whole-Home Renovation, and we’re closing in on several major exterior milestones!

🪟 Window Progress

Today we completed the remaining rework trim on all of the replacement windows. The new-construction windows will still need their interior trim and casing installed, but we’ll tackle those details after the drywall phase is complete so everything can be finished properly with the new wall surfaces.

We also installed the new front garage window, leaving us with just one remaining window and one patio door to replace. Those final openings are scheduled for Monday, which will bring the window and exterior door phase very close to the finish line.

🏠 Siding Prep Has Begun!

We officially started installing the siding accessories today, beginning with the starter strip around the home and garage. We made great progress and are already nearing completion on that portion.

Tomorrow we’ll continue trimming everything out by:

* Finishing the remaining starter strip
* Installing the exterior corners on the house and garage
* Installing the remaining J-channel around windows, doors, and other openings
* Continuing the final preparation needed before the siding and Versetta Stone begin going on

We’re heading into Friday with the siding accessories coming together, the windows and doors nearly complete, and another major transition right around the corner.

🔨 NEXT WEEK — DRYWALL BEGINS

Once we finish a handful of remaining punch-list items Monday and Tuesday, we’re targeting Tuesday or Wednesday to begin the drywall phase.

That’s going to be another big visual change. After months of demolition, structural work, framing, roofing, rough-ins, windows, and exterior preparation, we’ll finally begin closing up the interior walls and watching these new spaces take shape as finished rooms.

At the same time, we’ll continue progressing outside toward the Versetta Stone and siding installation.

We’re reaching the stage where a lot of the preparation starts turning into visible finished product—inside and out.

🏗️ DEWITT PROJECT | PROGRESS UPDATE

Another productive day at our DeWitt Addition & Whole-Home Renovation, and we’re getting very close to wrapping up another major phase of this project!

🪟 Today we installed six more replacement windows, leaving us with just one garage window, one house window, and the new patio door remaining. We’ll be back at it tomorrow to install the garage window and continue working toward completing the window and door phase.

Once those final openings are installed, all of the window and door installations will be complete, and our attention will shift into several different areas of the project over the coming week.

Next up, we’ll be working through:

🔨 Siding accessory and mounting block installation
🏠 Two exterior post wraps
🧱 Preparation for the upcoming Versetta Stone and siding installation
💨 Interior v***r barrier installation on walls and ceilings
🧰 Blown-in ceiling insulation throughout the addition

We’re reaching an exciting point where several of the major rough construction phases are behind us, and we’ll begin seeing both the interior and exterior finishes take shape at the same time.

A lot has gone into getting this home dried-in, roofed, trimmed out, and filled with new windows. Now we’re getting ready to start covering up all that preparation with the finishes everyone has been waiting to see!
