Early fall is the right time to give our trees a little extra attention. 🍂 Pruning away dead or damaged branches helps trees stay healthier as colder weather moves in. It’s also a smart way to boost safety around our homes and keep our outdoor spaces looking neat through the seasonal changes.

We always notice how much better trees look and feel after a good prune before winter sets in. A little effort now means stronger, safer trees through the months ahead.

Reach out if you’d like to learn more about tree pruning this fall.

Sun through the trees. Hard to beat.
This is my office most days. Just riding through the timber and reminded how blessed we are to work in all this beauty.
We say Healthy Trees Is Our MO because we mean it. A healthy tree is safer for your family, better for your property, and better for the woods around it.
If your oaks are getting heavy or you've got one you're not sure about, let's take a look before fall.

You know you're a tree family when...

My wife meets another tree company owner's wife at Five Guys in Columbia — Beringer's Tree and Brush Removal. Sees their logo and says "Oh I LOVE that you have a Bible verse on your logo!"

Her: "Yes! It's Matthew 7:19 - Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire." 😂🌳🔥

My wife: "Oh nice! Ours is Luke 19:5" 😆

For those who don't know Luke 19:5... that's Zacchaeus in the SYCAMORE TREE when Jesus says "Zacchaeus make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.”

If you know, you know.

Great meeting you Beringer’s Tree and Brush Removal LLC! Small world, smaller industry. 🌳🙏🍔

Boots off, socks on the boots, feet in the leaves. Best kind of tired.
You can see today's work right behind me.
That big oak in the back center got a proper structural prune and deadwood clean-out. We took out the crossing / rubbing limbs, thinned out the dead, and reduced some of that heavy end-weight hanging over the yard. It went from being a liability to being an asset again — safer for the home, healthier for the tree, and set up to thrive for a long time. That's what “Healthy Trees Is Our MO” is all about.
And on the left side of the photo, you can see that tall spar still standing — that's the spot where we removed a tree today. You can see the brush pile on the ground behind it. Sometimes removal is the right call for safety and to give the remaining trees room to be healthy.
Thankful for good, hard work and a minute of shade to rest in after.
If you've got an oak getting heavy or a tree you're worried about, let's take a look.

🌳 POTENTIALLY NEW LOOK FOR ZACCHAEUS TREE CO 🌳

We’ve been working on an updated logo and we want to show you what we’ve got. What do you think?
There’s a lot of meaning packed into it:
Left Side / The Dead Side = LIABILITIES
The bare, dead side represents what we deal with every day on the left — removals. Dying, dead, hazardous trees that have become a liability for your home and property.

Right Side / The Living Side = ASSETS
The full, green side is what we turn them into — assets. That’s the pruning, the preservation, the healthy tree left standing that adds value and life to your property.

It’s the whole story we live by: Life and death. Dead ways on the left, new ways on the right. We take what’s a liability and help turn it into an asset.
And at the bottom — HEALTHY TREES IS OUR MO™
That’s our Modus Operandi and a nod to our great state of Missouri. We’re proud to be Missouri-grown and Missouri-focused, with the outline of our state right there to prove it.
Still rooted in Luke 19:5.
