This project has been one of my favorites to have the opportunity to create. Built using 150 + year old materials, from a barn that was destroyed in hurricane Isabel and saved by the landowners. The Stokes Farm in Bertie County has provided us the materials and chance to build something beautiful and unique for a special client.

Definitely one of my favorite types of projects to do. Have a special client that fell in love with some reclaimed inventory that I have in stock from a 150 year old barn in Bertie County. Working together with the client, we will create and build an heirloom desk that will keep as much of the character and patina as possible. The first steps of selecting, defect cutting, and cleaning the wood is complete and its beauty is starting to show through!

Just in time for the weekend!
This project has been floating around just waiting to be completed and I finally got it done these last two weeks. This ash has amazing grain movement and color and would look beautiful in someone’s house for sure!

If you know me, you know how important this is to me. A skill you can take anywhere and use your whole life and an eager mind to learn all we can teach. An amazing young man and the best handshake I’ve had in a while made quite the impression on us. Thank you to John A. Holmes High School , ECPS Career & Technical Education, and Edenton-Chowan Schools for helping organize and facilitate these internship opportunities for our community.

This beauty didn’t even make it to being advertised! A unique build that was the first of the 1910 Mason farm reclaimed collection using to***co barn tier poles. Heavy and natural and sold just after completion. Plenty of material to build another or anything else you can dream of!
