The pregnant ladies got their CDT shot today! The makeshift alley way worked well enough for today, but even our biggest doe found a way to squeeze under the panels. As a beginning farmer, we find ways to use what we have and get the job done. One day, we will look back with wisdom and be thankful we built our farm from the ground up. 🐐🐓👩🏼‍🌾

Mount Zion Acres will be bringing local, pasture raised chicken! The chickens are raised on pastures in Eclectic, moved daily, fed from our local co-op feed, and processed by THEM! If you’ve never had fresh chicken, you are missing out. Just like any other meat, you’ll never buy store bought again.

🐓 Shrink Wrapped Whole Chicken: average poundage is 5.25 lbs with the cost being $4.50 per pound
