🌳 Leaning Trees + Wisconsin Storms = Something You Don’t Want to Ignore
As you guys know, Wisconsin storms can come through fast and bring some pretty strong winds, heavy rain, and saturated ground. As someone who works with trees every day, one thing I always tell homeowners is don’t ignore a tree that is starting to lean.
A leaning tree doesn’t automatically mean it’s going to fall, but if that lean is new or getting worse, or you notice exposed roots, cracks, decay, or movement around the base, it’s something I would have checked before the next big storm comes through.
Wind and wet soil can put even more stress on an already compromised tree. And if that tree is leaning toward your house, garage, driveway, fence, or another structure, it’s much better to take care of the problem beforehand than call us after it has already come down.
If you have a tree you’re worried about, give me a call. I’ll come out, take a look, and let you know what I think.
