The green outer sleeve slides vertically on the post for extra frost protection.
Burying a traditional treated post is inferior because it will rot off at the ground in 25 years.

Deck built above Pizza Plus Eatery downtown Eau Claire. Treated decking finished with white vinyl privacy fence. We cut the side and end rails down to 46 inches so the homeowners can still enjoy the view of the river.

Another very old building downtown Chippewa. The 5 foot wide chimney had a huge water trap behind it. New sheathing, shingles, subfascia, black soffit and fascia, framed a cricket, cut in a new reglet on the chimney.
Awesome transformation.
