The Derry Fire Department’s new 31,150-sf Central Station Headquarters is designed to support the future of emergency response. Featuring five double-deep drive-through apparatus bays, dedicated training facilities, integrated dispatch operations, and thoughtfully designed wellness spaces, the station strengthens response capabilities while prioritizing firefighter health, safety, and operational efficiency. Our team was proud to lead the architectural design, provide MEP engineering services, and serve as Construction Manager as Advisor for this great project.

Wendel led the planning and design for the city of Knoxville’s new public safety building, bringing police, fire, and administration services together in a modern facility designed for the future. The project includes shared training spaces, advanced decontamination areas, and operational support facilities to strengthen public safety services for years to come. With design complete, our team is continuing to support the project as the Construction Manager. Earthwork and site utilities are underway, and rammed aggregate piers are complete. Foundation work is up next.
