Teters Trees Working with Plants and People
Pruning, Garden Planning, Tree Health Inspections, Organic Land Care and Pesticide Reduction Plans

Have you ever wanted a licensed professional to come to your property, look at your trees, and provide you a diagnosis of their health? Have you ever wondered whether the proposal they gave you was honest or just a way to make more money? I don't climb, and I don't work for a large tree company. I make money pruning by myself, or by paid consultations resulting in a scope of work you can provide t

o another arborist. Arborists are salespeople, some better than others, but almost always they are a commissioned individual whos income relies on you spending as much money as possible. I have been in their shoes, a licensed arborist meeting homeowners, determining what issues their tree has, and providing a strategy to mitigate or remove threats. I have intimate knowledge of the equipment, manpower, and pricing for the local tree care market. I once received a commission for the sale of tree work, pesticides and lawn treatments. I now serve Fairfield and Westchester counties by providing objective and honest recommendations, that you the homeowner can use as you wish. My most fulfilling activity is helping people like you wade through a competitive and confusing industry full of dishonest business owners and inexperienced college-grads starting their first big career move! The cherry on top, educating you throughout the process as to why you don't need all the chemical treatments commonly sold to homeowners in this area. I am a Certified Arborist in Connecticut as well as the International Society of Arboriculture, a Certified Master Gardener, as well as an Organic Land Care Professional. I am further qualified by the ISA as a Tree Risk Assessment Qualified individual. I prune trees and shrubs, as well as perform professional consultations to customers regarding the health and safety of their larger trees. My purpose here is to follow and share content promoting environmental issues throughout my community. Additionally I am interested in finding good people in my community who need help managing their landscape. I am looking to meet and promote other honest community members to ensure the best environment for all of us!

These large intimidating Hornets are actually very little danger to people. Please do not utilize any pesticides against them. They may dig a small hole in your lawn, but consider that a free aeration! Not to mention the small amount of biodegradable material they bury at the bottom of that hole may actually be fertilizing nearby plants!
