Blast Connection LLC. In dry blasting, metal surfaces can fall victim to warping, due to the high frictional heat from the abrasive media.

The dustless blasting method we use at Blast Connection is a “wet” abrasive blasting method that is more eco-friendly and safer on metal items than traditional dry sandblasting. Wet blasting or dustless blasting uses air as a delivery agent, with aggregate as an abrasive source. Water is then added to the delivery stream, to prevent dust from being kicked up. The water blasting technique also cools the blasted surface up to 15% more than ambient air temperature.
