Finished this vinyl flooring job up today and I love how it’s looking , was water and mold damage to the old carpeting so we got that out of there, I got rid of all the baseboard in case, shimmed, leveled and installed a new high quality plywood subfloor (we hate osb!!!), treated the floor with a glue primer/enhancer, and installed our vinyl flooring . Tried to match the designs wherever possibly but the box is random assortments . We also installed new baseboard molding and sounds like I’ll be back to give the room a fresh coat of paint

Whoever the first guest of next season in that beach cottage will be the first to stay in a brand new refurbished room . Very happy with how it came out

Was waiting on mold remediation for this job finally got the all clear. Got the subfloor down today be back tomorow to throw some glue primer on it and back next week to lay the flooring and put some new baseboard molding on. Big or small we do it all , just send a text or call.

Pretty big brush job today . Did it by myself I think I made quick work of it . 8 hours or so clearing brush, pruning the trees, loading everything up , blowing off and then w**d whacking a bit of the yard plus a few odds and ends I did to help out the homeowner while I was there . Checked with the customer and this brush clearing was okayed per conservation , as it was shown within the plot plan and there is a staircase to be replaced down the line to a dock .

Vinyl flooring job I’m working this week on rainy days. Painting on good ones . Carpets gone mold remediation has came and gone with a clean bill of health . Got all my materials in today and prepped my room for a subfloor install this week, it’s a 1938 beach cottage so im gonna be doing some serious shimming 😅. Got vinyl flooring going in after that and all new baseboards to get the cottage back in the green and able to be rented

The AC unit was draining into a bucket and I’m assuming a renter forgot to empty it or kept it running and it ruined the carpet. As I said it’s and old cottage and customers want to rebuild it someday soon so my job is to keep it nice enough to be inhabited in the mean time . I’ll post updates along the way be back here mid week to do the subfloor , sand it and prime it then another day for flooring and baseboards

Installed some gutter guards for a customer today. This company makes a great product can’t believe how well they fit for something aftermarket . Fall is coming I’m offering gutter cleaning and guard installation as a package . Get the guards done now and then cleaned out and you won’t have to worry about cleaning then after the leaves fall. The guards still need maintenance but you only need to brush them off once or twice a year with a brush on a big pole no more climbing up and ripping out wet nasty compost

Sealed up all the gaps In the doors of this beach cottage for one of my customers. Trying to keep vermin out for winter a seagull could have fit through that hole lol. Not an easy job they want to tear down and rebuild so we went cheap and piecemeal filling the gaps rather than brand new casing , jamb and door, none of the floors are level as no foundation and it’s built on sand and the door frame was jacked so had to get creative but very happy with how it came out

Volunteered with my church over at Camp Lyndon for the YMCA. I ran a small crew doing some wood trim demo . Didn’t get it all done but we worked later than planned and got most of it knocked out for them. Giving back to the community is very important to us as a business and me personally . Today was the day for that . God bless enjoy your holiday
