Bullys Tree Service is looking for a full time CDL Driver / Tree Crew Member to join our team.

🚨 CDL REQUIRED — TREE EXPERIENCE IS NOT.

Tree industry experience is definitely a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.

What matters most to us is a great attitude, strong work ethic, dependability, and a willingness to learn.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has a CDL
• Brings a positive attitude to work every day
• Shows up ready to work and can be counted on
• Takes safety seriously
• Works well as part of a team
• Wants to learn, improve, and build a career
• Tree care, equipment, chainsaw, or rigging experience is a bonus

🌳 PART 2 — THE KO WAS THE RIGHT CALL 🥊

Part 1 showed the warning signs. Part 2 showed us just how bad it really was.

Once this white oak came down, the base told the story — significant decay throughout.

From the outside, it didn't look like much. Inside was a different story.

At first glance, this large white oak didn't look too bad.

Take a closer look and the warning signs start showing up — tip dieback, fungal activity, bark separation and decay.

Sometimes the right answer is preservation. Sometimes it needs the KO. 🥊

Once removal was the call, our grapple saw crane and grapple truck went to work.

🏡💚 Trees Need More Than A Chainsaw 💚🏡

As the dust settles from last week's storms, we wanted to introduce a member of our team that doesn't get nearly enough spotlight.

This is Alex, our Plant Health Care Director.

Last week Alex was representing Bullys Tree Service at the Moss Avenue Sale in Peoria. Ironically, there happened to be storm damage right behind our booth, which made for a pretty good conversation starter with everyone walking by.

Over the past week we've all seen firsthand what severe weather can do to trees. While no tree is immune to Mother Nature, healthier trees are often better equipped to handle stress, disease, insects, and storm events.

Unfortunately, our industry has become very reactive. Too often trees don't get attention until they're failing, declining, or laying on a house.

We want to change that.

Tree care isn't just removals. It's soil health, root care, structural pruning, monitoring for pests and disease, and helping trees thrive for the next generation.

If you're unsure about the health of a tree on your property, now is the perfect time to have it looked at.
