Four hours of digging in the rain, trying to locate the well in a customer’s hard-packed gravel driveway. 🌧️💪

Eventually, we had to call in the equipment—and it turned out to be a great decision. Once we uncovered the well, we found an extra-heavy-duty concrete well cover that would have been nearly impossible to lift by hand.

A good reminder for anyone with a direct-buried well: Know where your well is located! Having the location marked and accessible can save you time, labor, and money when your well pump eventually needs service or replacement.

A little preparation now can save a lot of digging later! 🚜🔧
