We are super excited to try something new. At our 71 Ridge project we are using Superform Products Ltd. ICF blocks. This will be our first project using ICF (insulated concrete forms). Stay tuned for progress videos, and product reviews.

In this shower, we’re showing two different ways to install metal tile edging depending on the finish and the look we want to achieve. Around the niche, we use the Schluter edge with the low-profile side facing out for a cleaner, more seamless finish that will blend beautifully once everything is grouted.

Small details like these can make a big difference in the final result.

One of these techniques is the use of a cedar shake roof with a Ventgrid Inc. system. When we first saw this system, we were impressed by the benefits it offers. Using the vent grid system creates a true air gap below the cedar shingles, allowing for a space between the plywood and the shingles.
