Yes, we are doing storm cleanup tree service jobs, and yes we discount for hauling off good logs for firewood or the sawmill.... especially after the emergency storm demand for kiln-dried firewood decimated most of the largest inventory we've ever had at Wagner Farms, LLC (oak 100%) and (mixed hardwoods, 90% so far)!

Note: We still stack firewood next to truck parking on deliveries but have suspended hand-carry and wheelbarrowing services until after the storm.

Reminder: hazard surcharges apply as soon as freezing precipitation starts, and increase as soon as accumulation begins!

Otherwise: still normal pricing for kiln-dried both here at the farm and delivered. However, kiln-dried stock limitations will likely force us to modify deliveries and pickups here to 50% kiln-dried and 50% fresh-split for all new orders sometime today (Thursday) with no corresponding change in price (extra hand-loading & service labor is required).

Anyone know anybody in the Upcountry who actually stocks drum sander paper rolls? Everyone who knows what one is says they don't (Ace, Tool Shed, Lowes, Harbor F) and HomeDepot says they do but has no clue what they're talking about! Lol

Kind of nice having a wife who has done 90% of laundry in her life by hand with cold water and taken 90% of her baths or showers with cold water, and we're already teaching our sons to do both! If you hear any complaints around our house they're probably coming from the grumpy old man who lives here!! 😂🤣 Thank you too, Marla Carpe Wagner for the delicious meals you keep making, and packing for me every day to go out taking trees off houses, and for keeping the generator going for our 7 freezers!

Yes, we are doing tree service, but emergency ONLY for now. I can evaluate most situations ASAP if it seems needed, but we will be doing triage to see what is the most dangerous etc, clearing driveways, etc first, then working through jobs based on current liability for further damage, order received, etc.
TEXT (not call) my cell and I'll be in touch ASAP. As of 2 PM on Friday, I still have several hours work just to get out my own driveway!!
