We had an emergency call to an rv park the other day. Customer stated, "Our power cord is smoking". After asking them to please turn off their breaker asap, we come out to find this masterpiece.

From the factory, the white wire (aka neutral in this case) was not properly terminated in the plug. With the neutral being loose and not connected properly, it would spark over and over causing heat to build up and eventually catch fire. Fortunately, they were outside and could see/smell the smoke as soon as it happened.

These rv manufacturers need to have better quality control. 😬
