Job Description
Full -Time Plumber

Benefits/Perks:
• Monday-Friday (7:00 am to 3:30 pm) some overtime may be required due to deadlines
• Competitive Compensation; $21 to $30 hourly
• Paid weekly
• 1 week of paid vacation after one year of employment
• Holiday pay after 90 days

Lanteigne Plumbing, LLC is a family-owned company that is actively seeking full-time, experienced Plumber’s to join our dynamic growing team! We take pride in completing quality customer jobs with efficiency. A positive attitude is a must! We work in Pickens, Oconee, Anderson, and Greenville counties, but the vast majority are the new construction builds on and around Lake Keowee.

The ideal candidate will have experience in new construction, residential and commercial plumbing. The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently and have a strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations. We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, works well with other team members and has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
• Read blueprints and drawings to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply networks, and waste drainage systems.
• Installation of water supply lines and drainage systems.
• Coordinate with other trades and project teams to ensure plumbing systems are installed correctly and on time.
• Inspect and test plumbing systems to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Keeps accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used.
• Is skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade.
• Has knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices.
• Familiar with CAST IRON,PVC, CPVC, PEX and COPPER (pipe and fittings)

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• 5+ years of plumbing experience preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently or with a team in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.
• Effective time management and organization skills to complete daily assigned tasks.
• Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Also requires frequent bending and lifting, standing, and walking over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, and safely climb ladders.

A big dog underground job is in the books. Typically for even larger than normal undergrounds, we can get them done in a day. This one took two full days. Pictures don’t do it justice with how much footage is in this house. It’s gonna be a nice one when it’s done.

Now this is a review to brag about!

Service: Plumbing leak detection
This company deserves 10 stars. My cabin (in HOA with 6 cabins) had a exterior water week for 3+ weeks, ground completely soaked for weeks along one side of cabin. Called 3 other plumbers and they all gave a bid (around 6k) to reinstall and new water line and feeds to cabins. One even came out with mini excavator and started digging main line, dug 16 feet and said cheaper/quicker to install new line instead of trying to carefully dig the 250 linear feet of pipe, filled hole (which was in road) and left me with a disaster of a mess (red dirt flowing everywhere after rain). I then was referred to Lanteigne Plumbing. Joe was amazing from the start! Joe came out next morning and said he could pinpoint where the leak was - he shut off main water and all cabins, then turned my cabin on and did a pressure test (NO ONE ELSE even tried to find where water was coming from). After completing the test Joe was 100% certain that the water line to cabins/cabin lines was NOT even leaking. He looked up the hill and saw the community pool and made mention that I am directly below and at the lowest point. Joe told me exactly what needed to be done and the pool had to be dye tested and valve tested (not part of his license). Low and behold I found a company to do these tests and found 3 leaks in pool (one defined as massive). That is the source of my water issue. Joe saved our HOA over 6k - not only that we almost pulled the trigger and would have been a complete waste of money. Joe is the man and I will never call any other plumber!!!
