The Big Dig - Construction vs Childhood Cancer 2026 was a huge success and so much fun! Thank you to everyone who came out and spent the day with us. Nothing like digging in the dirt while showcasing the amazing construction industry in the Treasure Valley, with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society - pediatric cancer research and support.

We had the groundbreaking ceremony yesterday for St Clare’s Food Pantry, which will be located next to Our Lady of the Valley. We can’t wait to get construction started on this much needed building that will serve families in need in Caldwell and beyond.

The Big Dig Treasure Valley is coming up soon on August 29th and there are still spots available for booth sponsors!

This one-of-a-kind, family-friendly event gives kids the chance to explore construction equipment, meet the people who operate it, and experience the construction industry up close—all while supporting the fight against childhood cancer.

Booth sponsorships are a great opportunity for local businesses and organizations to connect with hundreds of Treasure Valley families through a fun, hands-on activity, game, giveaway, or other creative experience. Last year’s event welcomed more than 700 attendees, and this year is expected to be even bigger!

Guho Corp has been involved with the Big Dig since its first year, and we are proud to now help co-chair this incredible event. We would love to see more of our clients, subcontractors, and community partners join us in making this year’s Big Dig the best one yet.

We are so proud of Anthony Guho!

Congratulations to 2024 Distinguished Alumni + Service Award Recipient, Anthony Guho ’09!

Anthony Guho graduated from Boise State University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s in Construction Management. He then joined the family business, Eagle-based Guho Corp, which provides general contracting, construction management/general contracting and design-build services across Idaho. Today, he serves as the company’s vice president and owner.

Anthony, and his fellow honorees, will be celebrated on Thursday, Oct. 3 at the Distinguished Alumni Awards Gala. Congratulations, Anthony!
