Position: Laborer
Job Type: Full time/seasonal (May through November)
Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Laborer to join our team! This is a hands-on position that offers roles in light excavation, gravel driveway work, and equipment operation while working alongside experienced professionals.
The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and willing to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with gravel driveway, miscellaneous dirt work, and land clearing projects
- Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
- Perform general labor duties on construction sites
- Operate hand tools and small equipment
- Assist equipment operators and truck drivers
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Represent Backwoods Services professionally with customers
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license required, CDL is a plus but not required
- Construction, landscaping, or excavation experience is preferred but not required
- Equipment operation experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
- Comfortable with towing trailers and equipment
