I said I was going to fly solo this year but things have gotten much busier than anticipated so I’m putting feelers out for help.
Minimum requirements:
Applicants must have a clean drivers license and reliable transportation. Class D is acceptable, B or A is even better. Applicant must pass a drug/ alcohol test prior to employment.
Work carries on rain or shine and you will get dirty. A sense of humor helps. Mostly you need common sense, a willingness to learn and some kind of work ethic.
The work I do:
General excavation including cellar holes, utility trenches, ditches, ponds. Grading of roads, parking lots, pads and lawns. Demolition. Retaining walls. Brush and tree clearing including wood chipping. Septic systems. Occasional odd jobs to keep things interesting.
Schedule: this is most likely a seasonal position. Work usually dries up at the end of the year. Open to both full and part time applicants.
Pay: depends entirely on your qualifications but could be anywhere from $18-25/ hour to start.
