Hello everyone and happy spring! The weather is finally warming up, and what better way to celebrate than with a beautiful new kitchen renovation! We were very pleased to work on this kitchen, as it was for a repeat client. We recently renovated three full bathrooms for this same client, which we can’t wait to share with you as well. Swipe to see the before and afters!

This project was a complete demo and renovation — this kitchen got the works. The old, outdated kitchen was demoed, drywall repairs were made, and the majority of the painting was done by the client (aside from one wall in the kitchen). Brand new white shaker cabinets were installed, topped with a beautiful white quartz countertop. A stunning hexagon marble backsplash ties it all together. An under mount stainless steel double basin sink with new plumbing fixtures were installed. A new coffee station replaced the old pantry area. New light fixtures, outlets, black cabinet hardware, and appliances (oven not pictured) were installed as well. New matching built-ins were added in the dining room, along with matching countertops to complement the space. The original hardwood flooring was preserved.

We are very happy with how this one turned out and are grateful for the opportunity to work on such a lovely kitchen. As always, let us know what you think!

BIG DECK ALERT!!

Today we’re sharing with you this amazing deck renovation we recently finished up. This deck has been on our project list for a while now and we are so happy with how it turned out! Swipe to see the before and afters!!

This deck was previously around 12x12 feet and did not have a concrete patio underneath. The old posts were demoed and new temporary support were put in while the concrete was poured. All of the concrete work was done by an outside party. The top boards, stairs and old rails were all removed. The joists from the old deck were still in good condition so they remained. New 4x4 posts were anchored into the concrete and 2x12 by 20 ft support beams were put up. The deck was extended another 8 feet to bring it to a total size of 20x12. Brand new stairs were built in a new orientation to better fit the bigger deck. All structural lumber was covered in deck flash tape to better protect against the elements. Beautiful composite planks were installed on top along with matching fascia boards around the exterior. Solid aluminum post were anchored onto the deck and black and white aluminum railings were installed. A safety gate was installed at the top of the stairs to tie it all together.

We are so so pleased with how this deck came together. A huge thank you to our valued customers for trusting us with such an amazing project!

Good afternoon and happy Sunday everyone!

Today we are sharing a deck we recently finished. The style look familiar? We have done decks in the past with this same material and bench seating. This deck was a for a previous client that we have done many projects for. We are grateful to our clients for trusting us with all of their projects!

Originally this deck was only supposed to receive new composite top boards as well as the bench seating. After removing the old top boards, we found that many of the joists were in rough shape. The old rotted joists were removed and new green treated 2x10s were put in place. A few of the joists were in alright condition and were instead sistered up with the same green treated 2x10s. Decking tape was added to promote the longevity of the joists. New 4x4 posts were put in to support the bench seating. The seats were framed in with 2x4s and received the same decking tape. The old stairs were torn out and new stringers were put in. Composite boards were used on the deck, stairs and bench seating. Another aspect that was added later to the project was replacing the old boards on the privacy wall. The privacy wall was lag bolted to the 4x4 post of the seating to help stabilize the wall. It was then extended 2 feet higher. Green treated planks were used for the wall and new lattice was framed in up top. The picture frame boards around the exterior on the deck, stairs and seating tie it all together!!

We are very pleased with how this deck turned out. More videos to come in a separate post.

Good morning and happy Monday everyone! Hope everyone is having a great start to their week!

It’s been a while since we’ve posted a project but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been hard at work. We have so many awesome projects to share with you all. Today we are sharing one of our most recent kitchen renovations!

We got called in to give this kitchen a complete face lift. The whole kitchen was gutted and received all new cabinets, countertops, backsplash and flooring. New drywall was put up on the ceiling and the walls and ceiling got a fresh coat of paint. A new light fixture and ceiling vents was installed up above. The original stove and refrigerator remained and a new microwave was added. The stove was relocated to better suit the kitchens layout.

We are very pleased with how this kitchen turned out!

Happy holidays everyone! Today we’re showcasing a recent project we finished up just before Veterans Day weekend.

This bathroom at the local VFW of Dwight IL received a full make over. The bathroom had been demoed, drywalled and the floor tiles had already been laid prior to us starting the walls. We unfortunately don’t have any before pictures of the original bathroom. We used large 8x14 white marble tiles for the majority of the walls. Two rows of grey accent tiles were added to match the floor tiles and break up all of the white. The ceiling will be painted by the owner as well as crown molding along the top . All other finishes will be done by an outside party. Including urinals, toilets, sinks, soap/paper towel dispensers and divider walls.

Thank you to the VFW of Dwight for your business. We look forward to coming back and renovating the women’s room as well.

Quick little brick laying project we did over Fourth of July weekend. Pictures and video were taken pre wash and seal.

The original brick work around this sign started falling apart. The customer had demoed and cleaned the concrete pad and we were called in to lay the new brick. Four rows were added all the way around with a concrete stone cap on top. Not seen in these pictures are the drainage holes that were drilled at the bottom in the mortar joints to allow water to escape. The inside will be filled with river rocks for decoration by the customer.

Fun fact, Asllani Construction originally started years ago as a masonry and stonework specialty contractor. Over the year we have taken on different trades and skills to be where we are today!

Some before and after of a railing project we recently finished!

This house got the works. New siding, roofing, driveway, sidewalk and front steps. And to top it all off, the new railings in the front. There will be more pictures to come of this massive project but for now enjoy this beautiful new railings.

Holes had to be drilled into the new concrete to secure the posts. Concrete lag screws were then used to secure the posts to the concrete. The railing was then cut to length and installed on to the posts. We love how they turned out!

Good morning everyone and happy Wednesday!

Today we’re showcasing what we believe to be one of our most satisfying projects yet! This concrete garage floor got a huge makeover.

The customer wanted their garage to be epoxied over to utilize this space as a hangout area/man cave. To start the concrete was thoroughly scrubbed down with a degreaser to remove all stains and build up. Afterwards, an acid etching agent was used to prep the concrete and allow it to absorb the epoxy better. A grey epoxy coating was then rolled on and decorative paint chips were added upon the customers request. After curing for 24 hours, a final clear topcoat was applied to protect and extend the life of the epoxy. We love how it turned out! Stay tuned for a walkthrough video of this project!
