RC Amigos says it right. The park, the tracks, the racing.... would be nothing without its community to support one another. Donald Flowers and the rest of the family have been a blessing to have around the park this summer. The Roundrats have spent many of late nights hanging out with the Flowers family and I can say with certainty, those nights are some of the best memories made this summer. Hope we can squeeze a few more in before they have to return to AZ.

We don’t usually post on Sundays, but today I’m feeling incredibly grateful for the people who surround us. Our family has benefited countless times from this amazing RC community, and we are so thankful for everyone who has taken the time to teach us. We make it a point to stop and listen whenever we can. That shared knowledge has not only helped us find a few podiums, but it has also allowed us to pay it forward and teach others.
A perfect example of this was yesterday, when Mr. Flowers sat down with Olivia and took the time to teach her how to properly tear down and service her nitro motors. Teachers like him are rare to come by, and I cherish every opportunity we get to watch and learn from people like him. Thank you to everyone who makes this community so special!

Its rare that I have time to paint my own personal work.... I'm just too busy painting for others to paint my own..... but, last week I carved out a couple days to crank this piece out for me.... my last shell had been going for over a season and quite frankly, I hated the paint scheme from day one. Very happy to replace the old lid with a new one

Ive been terrible at posting my work the last few weeks... here is the vintage 1/10 4wd buggy body I did for Trevin Baker to take to this years Vegas race. He also got duplicates of his RC10T and RC10B that I did for him last years. After getting some really awesome signatures at the race.... last years shells are being shelved and replace by duplicates of them.

This week, JJ Hickle Racing is debuting my work at the biggest theater in sprint car racing. Words cant express how this makes me feel. Good luck buddy!

Its been such a crazy couple of weeks.... between the holiday weekend and three back to back big race weekends.... Ive missed catching pictures of a handful of lids ive completed....

Tino Mendoza came and joined us on the RC dirt oval for his first ever RC race.... and he did it in style with a fresh Modelo paint scheme for his Gastruck Nastruck. If anyone's wondered if this class is user friendly.... he finished P5 out of 9 in the A-main his first time out!

WOW! Would you beleive me if I told you my 5 yo son painted this?!?!

We completed his ARRMA Mojave Grom RTA kit last night. He did most of the assembly (including assembling drivelines), while I did the screws. I brought him the entire paint tray and asked him to pick 3 colors..... he picked chrome, pearl red and pearl blue. We decided on stars and stripes..... he was hands on with cutting the stencils via the Cricut and everything. He sprayed the two createx colors and then I finished the chrome.

Children are the future of this hobby and RTR kits do nothing to teach them.... buy your kid a kit.... they may just surprise you with the outcome. Not to mention the memories you'll build along the way
