Pauley and I am the owner of And 1 Backflow, LLC. I am properly licensed and insured. I am a graduate of Elon University with a BS in Environmental Science and Public Policy. In 2006, I attended and received my certification from the University of Florida TREEO Center which is one of two National recognized cross connection/backflow schools in the USA. Realizing the importance of good, clean (pota
ble), safe drinking water, in 2009 I started my company. Since 2009, I have been testing backflow preventers on both residential and commercial properties all through North Carolina. In 2021 I received my North Carolina irrigation contractor license certification as well as my North Carolina plumbing license. This allows me to install and repair all backflow preventer‘s. In our day-to-day operations many people never stop to think about all the potential hazards that are connected to the same water line that feed the water to their homes. To ensure that these potential hazards never enter the drinking water system, the NC Plumbing requires the installation of backflow preventers on certain processes such as lawn irrigation, boilers, chillers, RO Systems, fire protection, and commercial domestic properties. The backflow preventers are mechanical devices with working parts such as check valves and springs that deteriorate over time therefore its crucial to have these backflow preventers tested, annually to insure that they are protecting against backflow. Backflow is the reversal of a liquid or gas and when your water purveyor has main water line breaks, flushing of fire hydrants, and any pressure loss in the the City's main water lines, we have backflow. There are two types of backflow, back-pressure and backsiphonage. Backpressure is when the water is pushed back through the water system (eg. Backsiphonage is when the water in the water system is sucked back through the system by creating a vacuum (eg. pressure loss). We test, Install, and repair all in-line, testablebackflow assemblies: Reduced Pressure (RP), Double Check Valave Assembly (DC), Pressure Vacuum Breaker (PVB), and Spill Resistance Vacuum Breaker (SVB). HOA Agreements - Group rate are available.
