2 is 1, 1 is none:

I'm not sure too many things aggrevate me more than faulty material right out of the box!

It was time to get the temporary pressure tank, and that rats nest of crimps, kinks and splices, off the cinder blocks. And out of the insulated box sitting in the front yard. Time to make look it look as professional as a carpenter can trying to play plumber

Got all my new lines, fittings, parts, and pieces laid out, and a plan to get them installed.
Spent the money for all brass fittings that should last me as long as im going to live.

Plan was to skip a holiday function with the family, so they'd all be gone and I could shut the water off and work without distraction.

Had everything prepped and ready, tank pre- plumbed, all fittings and valves installed plumb, level, and straight. Just going to be a simple swap the tank and re-work the lines into position.
Thinking ahead, knowing I would be adding another water line, I installed a tee instead of a 90Β°. Good on my part right? Or so i thought.

Well that didnt happen. I got the tank swapped, lines hooked up, double checked the pressure on the tank. And turned the well pump back on. Opened the valves 1 by 1.
LEAK.πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ 😑
Shut it down, checked all my fitting for tight, lined all the valves back up again. Powered up.
LEAKπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ "Damn it!
Dripping out of a fitting. Prior to the last of the valves
Again turned it off, drained it again, checked for tight, lined up my valves. Powered up again.
LEAKπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ !*%* #&1

Now im beyond AGGREVATED. 2nd guessing myself. This is not a difficult job! Can I not handle this simple task? Should I have called "my guy" to handle.this and save me the headaches?
I decided to leave it on in the hopes a new clue showed up.

As you can see, there was a pin hole leak in the back of the brass tee! Brand new out of the package!
Luckily in all the spare/extra pieces I had, from using the "2 is 1, 1 is none" theory in the past. I was able to put a 90 in and make it work. Before everyone got home. Now i have to shut it all down prior to adding the future line.
But I did not order 2 tee's.

So again I say 2 is1, and 1 is none!

Before the professional plumbers jump on me.
I know i should have taken the time before pouring the floor, exposed the lines already buried, and straightened them a bit
Prior to pouring the floor. But traveling for work just didnt allow for that.

No more working on a cold, gravel floor for this customer. Once the floor is poured, we will be hooking these loops into an exterior wood boiler. It will heat both their house and shop.
