When lightning strikes, the damage can be much bigger than what you see at first ⚡️

One of our recent customers experienced a major lightning surge that burned up their meter and damaged multiple appliances, including their microwave, freezer, and dishwasher. Their home was left without power, and they needed a solution quickly.

Mikk Services worked alongside SMECO to get to the root of the problem and restore power safely. We replaced the damaged meter can, installed a brand-new home electrical panel, and worked through the necessary repairs to get this family back up and running. ⚡️🔧

It’s not always just about replacing a part. Sometimes it’s about troubleshooting the damage, coordinating with the utility company, making sure everything is safe, and putting the pieces back together so our customers can get back to normal.

Another home powered back up and another customer taken care of. 🖤

Tonight we got an emergency call for microwave and fridge not working properly. We went out to check and advised the customer to call Smeco to verify their side of things. Once they opened meter can, we found the neutral blew from a power surge and lost connection. We were able to work with Smeco to turn power on tonight until we upgrade the meter can and panel!

Full first floor remodel. Laundry, Kitchen, family room, living room and office. Lighting fans and low voltage lighting!

Excited to see the end results with floor lighting. This one will be ready for September with the final video. With some more finishing up and a few more starting.
