Yesterday, before this much-needed rain came (haha! ⛈️), we were able to finish this super tall Hickory tree off on Grand Blvd. In Cedar Falls.🫡

Then, Selah transitioned down to La Laporte City and got this huge dead oak tree down for some folks there. 💪

Lots of progress made today along Grand Boulevard. 💪

The lightning Oak is down to about 12 feet tall.

Had a first on that tree, hit screws 20+ feet in the air. Only thing I can think of it might be was a wood duck house or something that people would put that high. 😲🤔 Ruined a chain. 😩

Selah got started on the neighbors Hickory tree. Beautiful tree, but it needs to go so that a new garage maybe one day can go in.

Remember that tree that got hit by lightning this summer and broke out our dear customer’s bedroom window because the bark exploded?😲

That old oak tree did not survive the lightning blast and prematurely died since then.
So, today it’s coming down and Selah is making good progress on it already.👏

I’m sure the neighborhood hates the sea it have died but at least now we’re getting the hazard removed. 💪🙏

You cannot understand from the pictures how big this pin oak was that we tackled today in Waterloo
I had to take the pictures at like 0.7 because I just couldn’t get back far enough.

All-Star Selah almost single-handedly took down this tree today! 💪 (She just let me help occasionally).

Hadassah taught herself to run the L 28 Bobcat today (up-skilling 👏).

I couldn’t be prouder of my all-girl crew! (since Aden’s back to farming) 💯❤️💪🫡

Another mature silver maple tamed today. 💪🫡
This one, in Dunkerton.

Also, seven trees trimmed up in the hamlet of Dewar.
The backyard lawn hasn’t see a sunset that beautiful in years (letting the light in)! 🌅🌅🌅

Tuesday’s before and afters in Evansdale.

An elm tree that opted to deposit one too many branches on Ted’s garage roof 😩 so it was removed ✅ and making this grand silver maple look more elegant. 🌅🇺🇸

It had to go, unfortunately!

We had only planned to take a troublesome 1/3 of this massive sunburst locust…until we saw the center…and took the homeowner up to see it! 😲😩😲

It was a ticking time bomb. 💣

The homeowner, and us, rest easier tonight.

Some days, we’re just trimming to beautify. Some days, we’re potentially saving lives. 🙏❤️💪🫡

It felt good to get this work done in Cedar Falls. 💪🌅🫡

A “purple fountain beech” was getting too tall for its Bridges so the homeowner had us lower it and then this old hard, Crimson maple was dying out and needed to be removed.

What a glorious day of sunshine and blue skies that God gave us today! 🌅🌅🌅

We were glad to be hard at work in Cedar Falls. It was the first time we were able to put the lift into someone’s yard in almost 2 1/2 weeks! 😲😩
