Had a customer call me up and was complaining how she keeps cleaning her glass but it is not very clear. I asked her if she has double pane glass and she said yes, made an appointment to go look at the glass sure enough the seal on the insulated glass had been compromised and allowed air to enter the air pocket leaving mineral deposits on the glass. Glass can be replaced without changing the whole window. Before and after.

It's the same thing every year. The hurricane season is here and people will procrastinate and wait for the last minute....

It's the same thing every year. The hurricane season is here and people will procrastinate and wait for the last minute. Last year I had 3 people in my neighborhood that wanted an estimated for storm panels . NO One Bought THEM. Sorry for them they will be the ones to stop by to see if they can get them just before a storm hits. Can't do panels take at least 3 weeks to get. Be prepared.

Had a run on replacing double pane glass this week., also noticed a lot of double pane glass has window film on the inside of house. THAT'S A NO NO. Film allows heat to build up between glass then you get seal failure and glass will eventually start to fog .
