Starts with one phone call

When you call in to discuss our services, I will ask you several questions about your wishes and needs as well as contact and location information. Most of the time I will need to visit your site to see exactly what you have to work with. Sometimes it is possible to get some basic and general ideas of our styles, services and pricing over the phone, but keep in mind th

ey will be very broad until I arrive at your site. With this face to face meeting we will typically discuss design and pricing in more detail to make sure you are comfortable enough to take the next step. There are several design options and situations that I won’t discuss here, but to see my services and then please view the gallery for some examples. Designs typically take an average of two weeks to complete and review with you, but if you have specific needs or time frames just let me know. The construction process will begin within a month of the commitment to install the entire project. Spring projects may take longer and summer projects may go a little earlier. The construction process is very invasive, but any specific information and requests can be discussed in advance. Any materials left on site will be removed and your home and project will be thoroughly cleaned and finished. Thanks for checking us out! MIke Saline (Owner/Designer)

🌟 Meet Jack, Lead Garden Designer at Saline Landscape Company 🌟

Jack joined Team Saline as an experienced garden designer and we can’t believe how lucky we are to have him and his kindness on the team!

He discovered gardening when a one-off gig turned into years of dedicated planting and design work in private gardens in Minneapolis. He is grateful to have found a passion worth cultivating!

When Jack isn’t meeting with excited clients, drawing up beautiful gardens or choosing plants from his deep, deep well of plant knowledge, he can be found reading, skiing where there’s snow and tending to his growing family. 🌱

The steel “round gardens” were designed by our landscape architect, fabricated with precision by our in-house fabrication team (check out our new Saline Fab website: salinefabrication.com🎉 !) and installed by our experienced builders.

Our Little Marais Cedars project is moving right along with our dedicated team hard at work each week bringing this extraordinary landscape vision to life.

We did it ⚡️ We put our money where our mouth is. In 2025 Saline Landscape Company committed to give 1% of our total sales BACK to our community - through - and there’s no better time to share with you than Earth Month! 🌎

🌱Because Saline Landscape is committed to environmental stewardship. 🌱

Here’s where our money went: Through official membership with One Percent for the Planet - we committed to sow into Duluth and surrounding regions with substantial and sustained giving - to uphold our invaluable outdoor resources here in northern Minnesota.

In 2025 we gave back to Chester Bowl - a Duluth bedrock park for outdoor activities and community gatherings.

We gave back to Hartley Nature Center - another incredible outdoor space in Duluth that offers hiking, biking, paddling and outdoor education.

We sowed into .cove - The North Shore Stewardship Association - committed to preserving and restoring the precious resource that is our north shores of Lake Superior.

What would our community look like if other business made the same commitment to sow 1% or more of sales back into our region?!?
