In conjunction with the donation of a DM&IR ore Jennie by CN Railway, North Shore Track Services was pleased to provide the project coordination, construction of a track base, trucking, and placement of the donated ore car as a donation to the Ely Arts and Heritage Center/Pioneer Mine Museum. Other forces who donated resources to this project included Louis Leustek and Sons/Forest Concrete Products and Radotich, Inc. It was great working with the City of Ely and the museum board members on this project.

The project was completed ahead of the upcoming Ely All Class Reunion June 29-July 7 and the Mining Heritage Celebration at the Pioneer Mine Monday, July 1 from 11:00-4:00. Head to Ely to learn more about this US Steel former mining site!

🌞 As summer wraps up we look back at the fun we had during the Summer.😎

North Shore Track Services attended and sponsored a hole at The GEAPS Twin Ports Chapter Golf Scramble this August. Amazing opportunity to get out in the sun, connect with the other attending companies, and eat tasty food! ⛳ 🌭 🌮

The collected donations and a part of the hole sponsorships will be going towards a charity that will be determined at the next chapter meeting.

Big thanks for the invite! NSTS had a blast attending and look forward the next gathering, hopefully the weather will be just as gorgeous 🤩

North Shore Track Services, in early August, attended a golf outing hosted by Civil Designs Inc. in Brookings, South Dakota joined by Railroad Industry Representatives. 🏌️ 🚂

Representing NSTS, we had from Duluth, MN Renee B., and Steve K. and on the second team our Hudson, WI guys Dave M., and Tom M.!🤝

Exciting day of golf, as always a wonderful time reconnecting with those in the industry, and a fun raffle with prizes to wrap up the eventful day. Looking forward to next year!🗓️
