First job of last summer was a tune up of this stained house near Duluth. Recoating the trim and garage doors as well as a a fresh coat on the siding will help protect this house for years to come.

My biggest project of the summer was giving this old Duluth home a newer look. This job included a lot of tedious work with windows and trim, in addition to soffit, fascia, dormers, gutters, doors, garage doors, and the garage as well. Days on days spend on a lift for this job but definitely worth the time.

This residence underwent a dramatic makeover, changing from a light-colored siding to SW "Iron Ore". Moreover, a fresh coat on the trim, spindles, railings, doors, and garage doors gave the house and garage a newly renovated look. I love doing dark colors like this!

It's about time to share some of my work from last summer. This particular project involved a simple one-coat repaint with Benjamin Moore Aura on the siding and a fresh stain on the deck. There was a considerable amount of trim to work with on this one, and the end result was excellent!

This log siding was redone with Rymar Log Siding Wood Sealer. Keeping up on the sealing process before it gets too bad helps save money in the long run!

The trim on this house needed to be recoated, which included quite a bit of scraping, sanding, priming, and lastly painting. In addition, some of the vinyl siding was recently replaced, but the color didn't match the faded siding. After a custom color matching it looks as good as new!

Over time, factory finished aluminum paint will develop this chalky texture when the paint is failing. This home received a two coat update and turned out great!

I was fortunate to be able to work on this unique north shore home right off of Lake Superior this past summer.

First time using Cabot Acrylic Solid Stain and it covered awesome using custom colors for trim and siding.

Failing siding can be the result of many things. In this case, the factory primer wasn't adhering well to this galvanized steel and over time it was peeling on two sides of the house.

After a good cleaning and some chemical etching, Sherwin Willams DTM Primer and custom color-matched Superpaint made it look brand new.

To keep a stained deck in good shape, it should be properly cleaned and stained every 2-4 years.

This beautiful deck has held up in the harsh Minnesota weather thanks to Messmers 2-part cleaner and Messmers UV plus Natural Stain.
