At Edwards Cast Stone, we're looking for craftsmen who can do more than cut wood and follow plans.

Our carpenters take a flat 2D drawing and visualize the finished architectural product before it even exists. Then they build the mold that allows that piece to be cast in concrete.

That means thinking in reverse.

Every angle, reveal, curve, and detail must be understood before the first piece of wood is cut.

This isn't cabinet making.

This isn't production-line work.

This is custom craftsmanship that requires skill, patience, attention to detail, and the ability to solve puzzles every day.

We were excited to host 27 students and faculty from UW-Platteville at Edwards Cast Stone this week!

The group toured our facility, learned about the cast stone manufacturing process, and got an up-close look at the work that goes into producing high-quality cast stone products. It was a great opportunity to showcase our team, our craftsmanship, and the industry as a whole.

Celebrating National Manufacturing Appreciation Week with a look at where it all happens!

On Tuesday, we welcomed 30 community members for a facility tour presented by the Dubuque Chamber. We kicked things off with a presentation from our President, Doug Edwards, sharing our journey from our founding in 1964 to our current role as a leader in the cast stone industry.
