⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our generator team has been busy this summer, and the reviews coming in have us feeling grateful. From new Generac installs to service calls across Cedar Rapids and Eastern Iowa, hearing that our customers feel taken care of means everything to us. We take the small jobs as seriously as the big ones.

Thank you to everyone who's taken the time to share their experience. If we've done work for you, we'd love to hear from you on Google!

Electrical work is more than the systems we install. It's the people who show up and do it right.

For National Construction Appreciation Week, we want to thank our crews and everyone behind them. Thank you for the early mornings, the long days, and the pride you take in your work.

Proud of this team. 👏

Backup power looks a little different when you're powering more than a home. 🏥

We supplied and installed this generator for Eastern Iowa Health Center right here in Cedar Rapids. When a clinic loses power, everything from refrigerated medications to patient care is on the line, so the backup can't be an afterthought.

Keeping vital parts of our community running when it matters most!

💡Meet Dawn!

Dawn is our Safety Director here at Hawkeye Electric. She joined the team this summer and has already been a joy to have around.

Originally from Marion, Dawn spends her free time reading, cooking, strength training, and hiking, with Glacier National Park topping her travel list. Fun fact? She once collected preserved parasite samples from veterinary colleges for a 4-H project, and we're pretty confident that's a first for this series.

We're so glad to have you here, Dawn!!

Happy Labor Day from all of us at Hawkeye Electric. We're thankful for our crew every day of the year, but today's a good day to say it out loud. Enjoy the time off, you've earned it.

⚡Project Spotlight: DICK'S House of Sport

We're proud to have completed the electrical work on the new DICK'S House of Sport in Cedar Rapids.

Nearly triple the size of the previous location across the street, the new store includes a 35-foot rock wall, a batting cage, and a golf simulator staffed by a PGA pro.

A great addition for athletes and families in the area. Worth a visit if you haven't been in yet.

A power outage doesn’t have to mean everything in your home comes to a stop.

With a Generac standby generator, your system detects the outage, starts the generator, and uses the transfer switch to move your home over to backup power automatically. When utility power returns, it switches everything back.

Swipe through to see what’s happening behind the scenes. ⚡️
