Wow, that was a hot week to be outside. Can you imagine being a plant in rock? 🥵

Our crew was busy installing a job at Lake of Egypt. We specialize in professional designs, installing nursery quality plants, creating custom lighting systems and installing a drip irrigation system you can trust in this weather.

School is wrapping up and so is one of our favorite projects we participate in each year.

It all starts with a seed. Our owner Dane goes to the first grade classrooms and teaches how to plant a seed with each student. All the kids planted zinnias this year. They water and watching them grow in the classroom for weeks.

This hands on project is always a favorite among the students. The last week of May each kid gets to plant their zinnia plant into the designated annual beds in the front of the school. The Du Quoin Garden Club joins in on the fun each year and we are so happy for that.

Mrs. Stanhouse was instrumental in getting this project started from start to finish. Our crew designed and created the landscaping in front with the annual beds incorporated for this project.

Now students can see how a tiny seed can have a huge impact if you tend to it and take care of it.

We love seeing it all come together. 🌱

Times are tough for small businesses.

Especially when days are cold and snowy. People rarely get out and sales are down. January is already hard for businesses and then the weather really doesn't help. Despite it all, small business owners still have to pay the bills to keep those doors open.

Those clean parking lots and sidewalks, yea they cost. We all know to well about those high electricity bills. 🙈

Winter weather is upon us and now is a good time to prepare. Do you have all of the necessities that you will need?
