Affordable housing is a struggle nationwide, this solution also addresses the various problems these abandon motels create. We are excited to be associated with this developer and their projects in Charlotte.

Lots of progress this first week at the RO Huffman community center. Expansion and remodeling of the existing banquet hall and bathroom facilities along with a new entrance into the gymnasium are well underway.

What does it take to revitalize a small rural town? Once a thriving community based around a globally known furniture industry? Is it industry and Jobs? Is it entertainment and restaurants? Is it a sense of Community? Is it something from a slower paced lifestyle from several decades ago? Or maybe it is something "NEW", something the younger generation values? As an architect in the later years of his profession, I've become more interested in what projects can really shape the future of these towns. Looking for comments / thoughts.
