Here are some before and during photos of the interior!

There’s been a lot of progress throughout the house as everything is being trimmed out and starting to come together. We’re going to wait to show you the master bathroom until the tile work is finished, so we can give you the full transformation all at once!

New project underway “Barbee Project”! 🏡🔨

We’re excited to get started on this one. We’ll be building a new addition off the back of the home while also completely remodeling the existing first floor with an updated layout and an all-new kitchen.

The new addition will include a bedroom/office along with a screened-in porch that opens up to a large outdoor patio featuring a built-in fire pit.

Demo is officially complete, and the footings have been dug and poured! We’re out of the gate and making progress. Stay tuned as we take you through this transformation from start to finish!

Here we go, brick veneer is done!

A lot is happening inside, but for this post we’re only going to showcase the master suite. With the new addition, we were able to gain a really nice sized walk in closet, a VERY large master bedroom, and a completely new master bathroom!

There’s been a ton of progress throughout the rest of the house too, but we’ll save that for the next post and keep the updates coming instead of throwing it all at you at once!

Next up, we’ll show you what’s been happening throughout the rest of the house!

More progress on our addition/remodel project!

All of the existing windows and doors were removed and replaced with new ones throughout the home. We went with Windsor Windows Pinnacle black aluminum clad double hung windows, an 8’ Pinnacle aluminum clad sliding rear door, and a beautiful fiberglass French door.

The French doors will be finished with a gel stain to give us the look and warmth of real wood while keeping the durability and longevity of fiberglass!

It’s amazing how much new windows and doors can change the look of a home, and this one is really starting to come together.

Next up is brick veneer, and we’ll start showing you what’s happening on the inside!

I’m a little late on posting progress pictures of this addition/remodel project, seeing as the project is currently finished! Instead of flooding your feed with a ton of pictures all at once, I’m going to keep the progress posts coming so you can see how everything came together from start to finish.

Here’s a look at some of the early progress. New foundation stem walls, brick veneer on the foundation, framing of the new rear addition and front porch, and the new roof!

A lot of work went into getting this project to this stage, and it’s always exciting seeing everything start to take shape.

Footings are poured and cured, and our stem wall foundation is about to start going up!

The front brick steps and chimney have been demolished to make way for the new.

Here are a few aerial shots showing the house and the start of the project. We have way too much planned for this property to fit into one post, but we’ll be sharing all the details as the project progresses.

The Final Chapter.

What started as an idea on paper is now a finished reality.

This Waxhaw addition transformed the home with 2 new bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, a dedicated office, a new laundry room, and a complete remodel of the existing guest bed & Bathroom all while blending seamlessly with the original home. Every detail was carefully planned, from the exterior tie-in to the final interior finishes, creating a home that looks like it was always meant to be this way.

Here are a few of our favorite angles of the finished project. Thank you to our homeowners for trusting us with such an incredible transformation. It’s projects like these that remind us why we love what we do.

The final reveal on the Waxhaw Addition is here!

After months of planning, demolition, framing, rough-ins, inspections, and countless details, we’re excited to share the finished product of this Waxhaw home addition and remodel.

This project included a beautiful new 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath addition featuring a dedicated office and laundry room, while also completely remodeling the existing guest bedroom and bathroom to seamlessly blend the old with the new. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to create a home that is both functional and beautiful for this family.

We’re incredibly thankful to our homeowners for trusting us throughout the entire process and to our outstanding team and trade partners who helped bring this vision to life.
