Happy October everyone and with the start of October we’d like to invite you to get in on our winter trapping circuit. Trapping is one of the most useful tools we have in our conservation toolbox. With habitat fragmentation due to growing human populations alongside a decline in trappers due to time availability, age, or the know how our ground nesting birds and fawns are at greater risk of predation because of the ease of finding prey, growing populations, and little to no risk from humans. If this is something you’d be interested in I’d be happy to talk with you about a plan of action to help make your farm or lease a better place for our wildlife. 931-627-3152.

Back in west central Ky putting in plots didn’t take any photos but also broadcasted seed into standing beans along with the drilling. Seen a few really good rubs and a giant buck while putting these plots in. There’s still time for all your plot needs 931-627-3152

Started this job as a mulching job to open up for a food plot but it didn’t take long to realize that this old logged westvaco ground with its ruts and old pine stumps mulching wasn’t the answer. So back up and swapped out attachments and dozed 2 nice kill plots and sowed some seed. Can’t wait to see what’s harvested out of them. For all your food plot needs give us a call 931-627-3152.

Getting two timber plots ready for breaking ground and seeding by scalping the ground this morning bush hogging. We’ll come back in a week or so and break ground and seed. Also got to see this little guy this morning not the best photo but he was running away from me. Contrary to popular belief that’s what they do.
