The Kennedy and Daniels Shoe Company, pictured here, operated on Maple Street in Dover for many years, including as a thriving mail-order business. For a while, they were the only shoe company in New Hampshire that crafted custom-made shoes for individuals. Other businesses would set up shop here over the years. The building is now home to True Bright Electric. We worked with Hampshire, England native Simon Macalister shortly after he started True Bright on his own in 2007 with one truck. It's been nice to see his company continue to grow.
