🌱 Planning to seed or install new sod? Talk to us FIRST!

Adding new grass to your lawn is exciting! BUT if you’re currently on a w**d control and fertilization program, communication is extremely important.

Many lawn treatments, especially pre-emergents, are specifically designed to prevent seeds from germinating. That means putting out grass seed too soon after an application can prevent that new seed from growing, too.

And sod needs some planning as well! If you’re working with a landscaper or sod company, make sure they know what has recently been applied to your lawn and when. Likewise, please let us know what you’re planning before the work is done so we can help coordinate your treatments appropriately.

🌱 Before you seed or sod:
• Call your lawn treatment company
• Tell your landscaper/sod company about recent treatments
• Ask about the proper waiting period
• Keep everyone in the loop BEFORE the work begins

A quick phone call can save a whole lot of frustration and potentially a whole lot of money. 💚

These are Bermuda seedheads, not w**ds. They’re a natural response to growth, temperature, and mowing conditions. While they may not win any beauty contests, they aren’t a sign that your lawn is failing.
