Time to think 🤔
We have been bombarded with rain through the winter months. If your having sewage drain line problems you should consider pumping your tank to give your septic system a rest especially if it’s been 5 years or more since you had it done. Systems last longer with proper maintenance just like your AC units do. Why spend thousands when you can only spend hundreds for maintenance. Why put off tomorrow’s yesterdays for today’s regrets? DON’T DO IT !!!

Manufacturers of baby wipes state on the packaging that the product is "flushable." Here at Baker’s Septic Tank there is NO such thing as a flushable wipe. The wipes do not break down in water, they can clog up plumbing systems in a home, cause damage to field lines and damage pipes and machinery at wastewater treatment plants.
Your toilet is not a trash can~

Is the rain the cause of your septic tank back up ?

With all the rain we have had
Definite possibility !

Almost all of your septic system is sealed and not affected by heavy rain, but one part
the drain field...
And with all the continuous rain we have recently endured it can definitely affect your septic system.
If it has been raining particularly hard and there's a excessive water forming atop of your drain field, you could start to experience the symptoms of a blocked septic system.
One of the best things you can do immediately is to reduce the water consumption in the house until things dry out.

Limit your shower/ bath
Don’t wash back to back repeatedly
Don’t let your water run continuously while washing dishes/hands/brushing teeth.
These simple steps will help in helping your septic system function at its best~
