We're Hiring: Welder / Fabricator🔥
📍 Dothan, AL | Full-time, in-person

All Metal Building Systems is looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our shop team. This is hands-on production work fabricating structural steel and metal building components.

What you'd be doing:
✅ Reading shop drawings, cut sheets and fabrication details
✅ Laying out, cutting, fitting and welding primary framing, secondary framing and misc steel
✅ Running shop equipment — saws, drills, ironworkers, grinders and torches
✅ Measuring and verifying material before and after fabrication
✅ Quality checking welds and finished assemblies
✅ Staging completed material for loading and shipment
✅ Keeping your area clean, safe and organized

What we're looking for:
🔹 Previous welding and fabrication experience
🔹 Ability to read shop drawings and fabrication details
🔹 MIG and/or stick welding proficiency
🔹 Solid with a tape measure, square and layout tools
🔹 Able to lift, bend and stay on your feet
🔹 Reliable attendance, Monday–Friday
🔹 Safe around heavy material and equipment

Bonus points for:
🔸 Structural steel or PEMB fabrication experience
🔸 Welding certification
🔸 Overhead crane or forklift experience
🔸 Layout and fit-up on built-up plate girders or trusses
🔸 Prior work for a metal building manufacturer or steel fabricator

Heads up: ⚡ All applicants should be ready to complete a hands-on weld test as part of the hiring process. Come prepared to show us what you can do!

The details:
🕗 Onsite in Dothan, Monday–Friday. Overtime may be available depending on workload. Not remote or hybrid.
💰 Pay based on experience, skill level and welding ability. Benefits available and discussed during the interview process.

We're Hiring: Pre-Engineered Metal Building Estimator
📍 Dothan, AL | Full-time, in-person

All Metal Building Systems is looking for an experienced PEMB Estimator to join our team.

⚠️ MBS experience is required. We're not able to train from the ground up on MBS right now, so please only apply if you've worked hands-on in the software.

What you'd be doing:
✅ Reviewing architectural and structural plans, specs, addenda and bid documents
✅ Building and pricing complete PEMB projects in MBS
✅ Performing accurate material takeoffs
✅ Reviewing framing conditions, loads, openings, roof and wall systems, insulation, accessories and special conditions
✅ Catching scope gaps and flagging RFIs
✅ Working alongside sales, engineering, detailing, purchasing and production
✅ Reviewing estimates for accuracy, keeping bid records organized, and hitting bid deadlines

What we're looking for:
🔹 Previous MBS estimating experience (required)
🔹 PEMB estimating background
🔹 Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specs
🔹 Working knowledge of primary and secondary framing, roof and wall systems, trim, insulation and PEMB accessories
🔹 Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
🔹 Comfortable working independently
🔹 Reliable attendance for an onsite Monday–Friday schedule

Bonus points for:
🔸 Several years of PEMB estimating
🔸 Advanced MBS knowledge, including pricing, Cost.Out, component setup or database maintenance
🔸 Experience working directly for a PEMB manufacturer
🔸 Familiarity with fabrication and production

The details:
🕗 Onsite in Dothan, Monday–Friday. Not remote or hybrid. No weekend work under the normal schedule.
💰 Pay based on experience, MBS knowledge, education and ability to contribute right away. Benefits available and discussed during the interview process.
