🏠 YOUR ROOF MIGHT NOT NEED REPLACING. IT MIGHT JUST NEED A LITTLE ATTENTION.

🍂 Leaves, pine straw, and other debris can collect in roof valleys and gutters. Over time, that buildup can trap moisture and interfere with proper drainage.

That's why we're offering homeowners in Dothan and the Wiregrass area a chance to get ahead of small maintenance concerns before they become bigger headaches.

With All About Roofs, you can get:
✅ A professional roof inspection
✅ An assessment of visible debris and maintenance concerns

📱😂 POV: You're the boss, and apparently your phone is your entire office.
Calls to make. Texts to answer. Estimates to schedule. Customers to help. Jobs to coordinate.
And somehow… it all happens on that little screen. 😂
Running a roofing company means the work doesn't stop when you leave the job site!
So the next time you see the boss on his phone, just know… he might actually be working. 😉🏠

A storm just came through. Now what?
Before you grab a ladder or start worrying about repairs, take a breath and stay safe first.
Here are 5 things to do:
1️⃣ Look for obvious hazards2️⃣ Check your property from the ground3️⃣ Look for fallen branches or visible damage4️⃣ Take photos of anything you notice5️⃣ If you suspect roof damage, contact a roofing professional
⚠️ Never climb onto your roof to inspect storm damage yourself. Some damage isn't obvious from the ground, and there may be hazards you can't see.
📌 SAVE this post for the next major storm and SHARE it with a homeowner who might need it.
If you're in the Wiregrass and think your roof may have been affected, we're happy to take a look.

Hurricane Isaias is a dangerous Category 3 storm Friday afternoon, moving towards the Florida Panhandle coast for landfall this evening. The official NHC forecast is for a Category 3 at landfall...there's hope it could weaken to a Cat 2 at landfall, but hope is not a strategy. Plan for a Cat 3 and SIGNIFICANT impacts around the eyewall, even as the circulation moves into Alabama. Much of the reliable guidance is centered near Fort Walton Beach for landfall, but a hurricane is not just a spot. The impacts are far-reaching.

Widespread wind gusts of 40-60 mph will impact the Wiregrass, but locations in the cone swath shown here could see 60-80 mph gusts well into Alabama, stronger in the Panhandle. Okaloosa, Walton, Covington counties...the biggest impacts in our TV coverage area.

Rain totals of 2-4" with bands of 4-7" are possible. I expect widespread tree damage and power outages as the rain falls on already wet ground.

The main impact window is 5 pm to midnight. The tornado threat is primarily confined to very far Southeast Alabama, southward to the coast, then eastward overnight. We'll have to watch the back edge of the rain shield lifting northward for the main tornado threat...which occurs later this evening.

Much of the area should dry out by midnight, with the main impacts shifting north and east of our area. Perhaps some rain returns in spots later Saturday. -WTVY Meteorologist David Paul

We love it when “Chuck in a truck”
& DYI homeowners use flex seal,
Cause we make more money to do the damaged repairs 😂 (sad but true).
We actually hope flex seal goes out of business because of the lies and deception they use.
Flex seal may be good for some things but roof projects and making screen door float will cost you way more in the short & long run.
Bless your heart 😎

We love a good DIY project! 😂
But some projects are better left to trained professionals.
Working on a roof can involve serious fall risks, and improper repairs may fail to address the underlying issue.
Sometimes the best DIY decision is knowing when to make the call. 📞🏠

🌩️ STORM'S COMING. IS YOUR ROOF READY?
With severe weather moving through the Wiregrass, now is a good time to take a few minutes and look over your property.
Before the storm hits:
🏠 Check your roof from the ground for anything that already looks loose or damaged.🌳 Look around for trees or branches that could potentially cause problems.🧹 Clear leaves and debris from areas you can safely reach.💧 Make sure gutters and downspouts are able to drain properly.📸 Take a few photos of your home's exterior now—having “before” photos can be helpful if you notice damage afterward.
And most importantly:
⚠️ Don't climb onto your roof. If you see something concerning, let a professional take a look.
Storms can bring strong winds, heavy rain, hail, and falling branches—and some damage isn't obvious from the ground.
Take a few minutes now. It could save you a headache later.
📌 SAVE THIS POST so you have it during the storm, and SHARE it with a Wiregrass homeowner.
Stay safe out there! 🌩️🏠
