What’s mold doing in your A/C⁉️
Your air conditioner produces the cool air that you breathe on warm days, which is exactly why you need to beware of mold in your AC unit. Almost nothing could be worse for you than breathing mold all day.

How is mold formed in A/C units?
🦠 MOISTURE: Most A/C units should have humidity control built in, discouraging moisture to build up inside. Where moisture goes, mold will follow.
🦠 RARE MAINTNANCE: Repairs to an HVAC system can cost a great deal of $$, this shouldn’t mean you ignore your A/C until it shuts down. Having a Vortex technician at least once a year to clean and replace its filters is ideal to prevent mold growth.
